Mother Marianne’s West Side Boutique & Salon served a steady flow of those in need over the summer, providing clothing, personal care items, haircuts and blood pressure screenings, reports Coordinator Nancy Robert.

From May through August, the boutique assisted a total of 884 individuals. They comprised 472 adults, 299 senior citizens, and 113 children.

The boutique currently is not accepting women’s clothing as it has plenty at the moment, but is in need of deodorant, razors, shampoo, bar soap, laundry pods.

The boutique worked with several other agencies, providing clothing items to people served by Midtown Utica Community Center, St. Volodymer’s Ukrainian Church, Emmaus House (women & children’s shelter), Catholic Charities, and Connected Communities of Oneida, & Herkimer County.
