The soup kitchen was buzzing with holiday spirit on Christmas Day. Some 19 volunteers served 226 meals as chatter, laughter and music filled the dining room.

Despite the crowd, “everything went smoothly,” reports Director Ed Morgan.

“The menu included ham, turkey, scalloped potatoes, peas, rolls and butter, salad, and dessert.”
