The Advisory Board elected officers for the 2021-2022 year and welcomed three new members.

Darren Woods was re-elected as board chair.

Also re-elected were Mary Stronach, vice chair, and Joe Antonik, treasurer. Rebeccah Philipson, a new board member, was elected secretary.

The other new Advisory Board members are Mary Gearhart and Tom Powers.

Rebeccah is Adult Health Home Program Manager for Building Blocks, a Care Management Agency through CNY Health Home Network. Mary operates Queen’s Closet Consignment Shop and Attic Addicts Estate Sales. Tom is owner of Celtic Harp.

Although new to the board, they are not new to Mother Marianne’s West Side Kitchen. Mary has volunteered at the soup kitchen. Building Blocks has staff members visiting the soup kitchen to help clients with housing and other needs. Tom’s restaurant has provided meals for the soup kitchen, and Tom himself had even played Santa Claus for the children.
